Welcome to BambooBikeTrails, your gateway to an 9 day cycling adventure through China’s rural beauty. Ride through ancient villages, climb mountain passes and coast through bamboo forests, lakes and ravines - all fully supported all unforgettable.

The rides

Our location is carefully chosen to serve as a base to showcase the raw, natural beauty of rural China. You’ll cycle through timeworn villages, wind along riverbanks, climb through misty mountains and drop into lush green ravines. Expect a mix of challenge, wonder and discovery each day.

Routes range from 45 to 105km per day with 900-2400m of climbing on each ride. Moderate fitness levels required

Any mechanicals on the ride and we’ve got you. Full back up on every ride

En route supplies and feeding

Our back up vehicles will supply water and snacks on the way. Lunch will be in local restaurants. And if the climbs get a bit too taxing. You can jump in the support vehicle at any time

Rest easy after each ride

At the end of each day relax in our welcoming homestay. Each room is en-suite with soft beds, hot showers and peaceful views of the surrounding hills. Quiet restaurant and a bar/cafe on site
